You feel inspired to create an ONLINE COURSE, WORKSHOP, or RETREAT? That is so cool!
I bet one of the first questions that popped in your mind was:
😱 Where to host my online course? 😱
If you’re anything like my clients and myself (when I created my first program), that question became so present in your mind that you got stuck.
Maybe you ended up consulting dozens of articles on the topic, yet you still don’t know what platform to select. And perhaps, worst than confusing you on what to choose, you even started thinking that there was only one way to teach, coach, or offer to heal online as they displayed successful strategies from their users.
The teaching options available and compelling marketing arguments of each platform are exciting, especially in the early stages of your adventure. How wonderful would it be to have a magical recipe to follow that will ensure your success!
However, if you don’t know yet what learning journey you want to board your future participants on, the wealth of examples and strategies you can find on the web can be more confusing than supporting informed choices.
So, before diving into comparing the existing platforms, you may want to ask yourself:
🧐 What experience do you want your participants to have with you or your teachings?
🧐 How do you want to interact with them?
But the truth is, the questions above are just a starting point to exploring what and how you want to teach/coach/transmit. The more my coaching clients and I dig into who they are, what type of teachings and value they want to convey, the easiest to find the tools that will support them. And sometimes, they won’t even need such a platform.
If you got caught up in the “what platform to use” before being clear on what you want to teach, heal or transmit, then you need to refocus your attention on what your content is about—and how you want to help your participants to integrate your teaching—to identify what tool(s) will support your concept.
Now if it is all clear, then the table below can help you make a choice 🧚♀️
